Is there a minimum order for badges?
No there is no minimum order, we are happy to create just a single badge if that is all you require. So there is no need to worry if you have a new member of staff join.
What can I have on my badges?
Pretty much anything! Text, full colour photos, logos, etc. We are happy to advise, and will create a design for you free of charge.
Can badges have different names and titles on them?
Yes, as our badges are digitally printed using the latest technology, which means that it's no extra work, or cost to produce individually named/titled badges.
How long will they take to arrive?
Generally your badges will take from 3 to 6 working days from your approval of the mock-up badge design that we will send you via email. We also offer the option of guaranteed next day delivery, however please bear in mind this doesn't mean you will get your badges the day after you place your order as your badges can take a couple of days to make once you've approved your mock-up artwork.
How do I send you a list of employee names?
You can provide use with a list of employees via our badge description form on our badge ordering pages. Alternatively, we are happy to accept a list via email, or as a word or excel document.
How will I know my badges are going to look like?
We will provide you with a visual mock-up via email of your design which will look like a photo of the real thing. Once you have approved the design we can get started with making your badges. Please note that orders may be auto approved if we do not hear back from you within 7 days of sending you your proof.
Where do you ship to?
We can ship your badges via first class Royal Mail or Special Delivery to anywhere within the UK.
We offer two types of badge fixings, magnet or brooch pin.
A magnetic fixing is ideal for blouses, shirts and thinner fabrics, whereas we'd recommend a brooch pin for heavier garments such as overalls or lab coats, etc.
Is there an initial set up cost, or an additional cost for creating the artwork for the badge?
No, all artwork for any of our products is provided free of charge. Design work is offered free of charge, only for use on products purchased from Staff Badges Direct. Should you wish to use any artwork created by Staff Badges Direct elsewhere (i.e. On a website, Shop signage, T-shirts, etc.), we are happy to discuss passing usage rights over to you, for a small fee. Free of charge artwork creation is limited to initial artwork creation. Further artwork revisions are free within what Staff Badges Direct deem a reasonable amount, and extensive revisions may incur additional costs or be declined.
